"Just take the picture" - Jay-z

I was asked by a colleague to shoot a private party (which i rarely ever do) for some very important people hosted at The Spotted pig (Bono x Jay-z). Turns out it was the 40th birthday party of hip-hop editor Elliot Wilson. Elliot has single handedly turned some of hip hop and r&b's most obscure magazines into must grabs on every newstand and vendor in the worlds biggest cities. In two words this guy is simply "the Man".  I met a lot of great people as you can see below, including but not limited to the greatest rapper alive; "HOV"... Jay-z whispered something to me that night that may stick with me forever...simple and to the point he uttered "just take the picture". Something in his tone and unbeknownst to him, it was thee exact "exact words" that i needed to hear.
